Volunteer requirements
Each session needs two volunteers, with at least one fully trained. Volunteer 1 must be fully trained. Volunteer 2 may be fully trained or shadowing. A fully trained volunteer has watched the CGA training video and completed a shadow shift. A shadowing volunteer has watched the training video and must complete the Volunteer Shadowing Checklist at the Gaming Centre.
Season requirements
Each family must complete two (2) bingo sessions per registered child between September and the following August. Bingos run all year and do not have to be completed during the skating season. Additional bingo dates may be added as assigned by CGA. The 2027 schedule is expected to be released closer to January 2027.
If you cannot attend
Once you sign up, you are responsible for your commitment. Find your own replacement or arrange a trade with another family, then notify the CSSC Bingo Coordinator when confirmed. Only the coordinator can cancel or change a booking.
Penalties
Uncompleted required bingo sessions: $600 per missed session, per child (due by the last skating date of the season). A missed scheduled bingo may result in an additional $250 Gaming Centre penalty, for a total of $850 as described in CSSC policy. Contact the club for full details.
Training
All volunteers must complete the CGA online training before attending.
